Null Signal is a Unity project I am currently working on, drawing heavy inspiration from Signal Simulator and Voices of the Void. The gameplay resolves around scanning an abnormal dark region of space for signals, processing them, and retrieving data to send off for in-game credits. These credits can be used to upgrade your infrastructure, making scanning and processing signals much easier.
As the game progresses, you’ll encounter strange signals, bizarre events, and unique entities. As the lead researcher of this abnormal region of space, uncovering what happened is crucial — but perhaps something out there doesn’t want you to.
As of June, the game is still in very early development. A basic gameplay loop has been developed, and I’m now in the process of refining and expanding on it. The aim is to deliver a working build by July or August, which I’ll provide a link to here when available.
